Tubman Holiday Shopping Extravaganza! PDF Print E-mail

The Lake Elmo Jaycees are proud to once again be participating in the Tubman Holiday Gift Program! This is a long-standing tradition of our chapter, and many say it is one of the best projects of the year!

What is the Shopping Extravaganza all about? The Lake Elmo Jaycees make a sizeable donation to this organization every December. Rather than donating money, we go to a local store and purchase items to donate. Items are selected from a wish list provided by Tubman, items that are in high demand or particular need. We search out sales in order to stretch our donation as much as possible, and always make sure to get some toys, games, and fun stuff along the way too!

Date: Sunday, December 6, 2015
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Location: Oakdale Target (just SE of 694 & Hwy 5)
( 7900 32nd St N. Oakdale , MN 55128 ) MEET IN STARBUCKS

Its time to help clean up the summers trash before snow hits!
We will be meeting in the parking lot of the Target (north side- next to Hwy 5) located in Oakdale on Highway 5. Bags, vests, and gloves will be provided. Please bring your own beverage.

We are responsible for a 2 mile stretch of highway 5 going though Lake Elmo (From Helmo Ave to the Kelvin Ave next to the Church), so the more help we have, the faster we can get it done!!! Please feel free to bring any children over the age of 12.
