Giving back this Holiday Season

The Holiday Season starts with a celebration to give Thanks for all that we have, then we move on to helping others that are in need.  The Lake Elmo Jaycees have a long standing tradition of helping those in need year-round, but especially during the Holiday Season.

We have several community events coming up for the Holiday Season that we invite everyone to participate in, including:

·         Our annual shopping day for Tubman's Holiday Gift Program! We will be meeting at Target on Hwy 5 in Oakdale to shop at 9am on Saturday, 12/14.

·    Shopping for lots of toys for Toys for Tots. We will be meeting at Target on Hwy 5 in Oakdale to shop at 9am on Saturday, 12/14

·    Assisting the Guardians of the Children with their “A Very Merry Charity” event.  Event takes place on Sunday December 15th.

·         Community Thread's Holiday Hope Program: we are sponsoring several families in need. We will shop for items on wish ists provided by the families we are sponsoring, shop, and wrap the gifts.  Date to be determined.

Time to celebrate the completion of another Huff n' Puff and say goodbye to summer at the same time!

We will begin the evening with a pre-movie cook out after the gates open and we claim our parking spots. The chapter will provide Hamburgers, Brats, Hot Dogs, buns, and condiments for the BBQ. Please bring something to share with the group if you are able to.
